Well, They Weren't as Bad as They Were Last Game

I have just returned from the Rangers/Islanders game. The Ranger's lost 4-3, which was a miserable experience to watch but much better than their previous few outings. At least it was close. They got killed with penalties, and could not capitalize on their limited power play opportunities. In their defense, the Ranger's had several players with the Flu, including Lundqvist and center Michael Nylander, as well as several injured players. And as the game went on, they improved. Nonetheless, they appeared sloppy and listless for the first half of the game and it showed. Hopefully this trend will stoop as they head out on the road. Despite this recent 3 game losing streak, they remain first in a tight race in the Atlantic Division. Go Rangers!
