Heart Shaped Cheese
Yeah its almost Valentines Day. And let me guess: no flowers, no chocolates, and your idea of a romantic gift is a second monitor for your Mac. You loser. Wait... I appear to be talking about myself. But there is always a temporizing measure: heart shaped cheese! OK, its no Pajama-Gram, but it is edible and it is sort of cool.
The cheese itself, from Coeur du Berry, is the same fresh goat cheese you usually get from this popular French brand. The cheese is actually aged two weeks before being put out for sale. I prefer the ash covered cheese, but it is also available as plain goat cheese. If you look at the photo, you can see that Coach Farm also makes heart shaped chevre.
Is this the greatest chevre ever? No. But it looks great, tastes good, and will go great with the flowers, candy, wine, dinner out, Pajama-Gram, Vermont Teddy Bear and, of course, the perfect jewelery that you will doubtless get for the woman you love. Like I did.

But you didn't hide the jewelry in the cheese, we hope?
Oh, if I were so clever...
