Woolwich Dairy Goat Brie
The lovely wife loves the goats. Milk that is. Cheese, specifically. And, if you are looking for an interesting variation on brie (and who isn't?), she found a good one recently.
Woolwich Dairy, located in Orangeville, Ontario, was founded in 1983 and specializes in goat's milk cheese. They are the largest goat cheese producer in Canada and are expanding their operations to Lancaster, Wisconsin in the US as well. Although some of their products, such as string goat cheese, look a little industrial, they do produce several interesting looking products, including a goat gouda and the brie we all had.
If you have a brie loving crowd, but are sick of the stuff yourself, think of this goat brie. It will add a little excitement to this overused classic. It has a nice box, too.
