Rangers Get Crushed by Florida: Another Small Crowd
Reviewing the game today is twitter length: the Rangers looked bad and they lost 4-0 to the Florida Panthers. What made me wonder a bit was that, even though it was a 1 PM game on the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Kid's Day!), there were clearly many empty seats seen throughout the building, particularly in the purple seats. Lots of scalpers before the game as well. Last week, scalpers were offering tickets "1/2 price" a half hour before the game. This definitely wasn't happening last year. I also just checked Rangers "Ticket Exchange:" if you want to sit in the purples this Wednesday, you definitely can. Super hockey micro-economics, hockey wise, if you will.
