There's a New Pig Coming to Town

Just when you feel the world is going to collapse, things start to turn the corner. No, I'm not talking about the stock market. I'm talking about ham! Anyway, the lovely wife passed by the very soon to open Salumeria Rosi at 283 Amsterdam Avenue, New York NY 10023 tonight on our way home from a lovely anniversary dinner at Bar Bouloud, and saw that they were pretty close to opening. Workmen were finishing up the interior, and some very impressive looking hams were already hanging from racks on the ceiling. Salumeria Rosi is from the Tuscan impresario Cesare Casella and will be a combination of an Italian Grocery and 35 seat restaurant. I am very excited about this.
